A Few Words About Our Social and Environmental Commitment
Since the Carasso family arrived in Israel, they have used their resources to promote social causes.
The issues may have changed over the years, but the involvement and commitment have remained exactly the same.
Our current activities allow us to bring positive change to neighborhoods, communities, and the environment in which we operate.

Environmental Building
In innovative projects like Carasso SUNN and Flora, the design aims to minimize the use of natural resources in water, air, and light systems and encourages active living. Many of the projects include bike stations, electric vehicle charging stations, solar panels, green roofs, natural shading, and more.
Carasso Program for Social Housing Research and Development
The "Hagar" program was established in 2014 at Tel Aviv University’s Faculty of Law and is currently the only organization in Israel focused on promoting social housing. It was created to develop knowledge and new tools in the fields of public housing and urban renewal, and to advance affordable housing for middle- and low-income households.
Gender Equality
According to the Israel Securities Authority, only about 6% of companies in Israel have more than two women serving on their board of directors. Carasso's board includes five women (42%). This is similar to the overall gender ratio in the company: 54% of the company’s employees are women.
Aside from these, Carasso donates nearly one million shekels each year to various causes in education, women’s advancement, healthcare, and more. For us, this has always been self-evident.
